Dr. Joy Clem and her husband, Joe, moved from Maryland
to Utah to ski the infamous
powder. She is a UM
College Park terrapin with a BS in Biology &
a strong background in microbiology. She
graduated from the world’s first dental school, Baltimore College of
Dental
Surgery then continued for a general practice residency at the VA
Medical
Center in SLC. She focuses on continued
learning through membership in the Weber District Dental Society,
American
Dental Association, and Academy of General
Dentistry.
You may see her out and about fiddling with her husband, the
drummer for
Shades of Grey and Pladdohg. She trains her Bernese Mountain Dogs,
Sophie &
Tomba in agility, drafting (pulling carts) and freestyle dance. She’s
also a
volunteer choreographer for JAKS, a children’s theatre company, and has
even
included Sophie in their latest production of Annie. |

Leicie Messerly has over 10 years experience as a
dental
assistant. Her compassion is exhibited
by the score of wildlife and stray animals she has rescued,
rehabilitated or
adopted over the years. She demonstrates
this same nurturing care every day to our clients. For
recreation, she camps with her husband
& heelers and snowmobiles. She
values time spent with her family in Layton
and enjoys stamping with her mother-in-law.
